October 5: Ureshii app is a special app for assessing & resolving mental health issues. The Ureshii mental health App, which helps with tracking and improving mental health has been recently launched under Reliance Jio’s Growthpad program on JioStore for JioFiber subscribers across India.

Shiv Mehta, a student of Dhirubhai Ambani International School, achieves the unique distinction of being the Youngest Developer to launch app on Jio Platforms.

It has been consistently featured as a Top Trending App. It has been a top pick among apps for a long duration which speaks volumes of the app’s impact and its utility. This app is a unique app which addresses the domain of mental health, which is normally avoided in urban and rural India. Helps in mental health.

Shiv Mehta, App Founder, said: “As Ureshii started taking off in a tier 1 city like Mumbai, I realized that as a developing country, India’s tier 2 and tier 3 cities need help as well. By partnering with Reliance Jio (India’s Largest Telecom Company), we have ported Ureshii onto the Jio Set-top box and Jio Phone, helping us tackle the mental health stigma in rural India”. Ureshii recommends activities to improve one’s mental well-being. Ureshii does this by making use of a clinical psychology-inspired questionnaire and a machine

learning algorithm programmed by Shiv. The machine learning algorithm uses user profiles and data to categorize them into clusters. The recommender system algorithm uses the clusters to recommend similar activities to users in the same cluster.

Following this launch, Reliance Jio users will have access to a very innovative mental health app – Ureshii.

Specializing in algorithms & content for mental health, Ureshii produces original content and unique algorithms that can help people cope with mental health issues.

The app has been a leading app on Jio Platforms in its respective category. The app is available to be downloaded from 8 Million+ STB’s across the country. The efforts by this young innovator will go a long way in making India more healthy in front of mental health.
