Q1. What does your book ‘Key 2 Happiness’ emphasise on? 

Ans- This book tells us as to how we can control our minds, overcome fear, anxiety and depression and achieve super happiness in our lives. The book also tells us how to deal with the criticisms, how to say NO and start living an Assertive and happy life. Having been a student of NLP/CBET I have seen how people suffer because of their inability to control their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Having faced the vicissitudes of life myself and how I was able to deal with them, I thought it was time to share my views in the form of a book.

Q2. How do you define your relationship with the core of this book?

Ans- I took voluntary retirement from the Indian revenue service because even though I was doing pretty well professionally, I was not entirely happy. I always felt that there was something amiss. On introspection I found out that the need of self-actualization was the reason for it. I was in search of myself and  I am very happy that I had the courage to take that decision then.

Q3. What inspired you to write this book?

Ans-   Having lived in a state of unhappiness for a long time and as a result suffering a stroke at 38,  I soon realized that I needed to make some changes in my  mindset . I also came to realise that real happiness comes from within, when we are internally driven. The concepts of NLP /CBET taught me that if we could control our thoughts,we could control our lives.

 I was also inspired to  to reach out to people  and help them by sharing my own experience to find the key to Happiness.

Q4. Can you tell us more about your inspiration?

Ans- Print and social media are the best means to reach out to many people. Writing a book candidly by giving words to  my emotions, I have tried to reach out to the maximum number of people who are unhappy in the world today where stress levels run very high. In this book I have discussed what is happiness in real terms, what are the factors which destroy happiness and some simple techniques to find happiness and fulfilment in our lives.

Q5. What advice do you want to give to the readers of your book?

Ans- We must fall in love with ourselves. There is a tendency among the most of us that we tend to put ourselves last in our priority; maybe because of humility but we must remember our first duty is towards ourselves. Moreover we can help others only when we are happy within and thus in a position to spread happiness.
